Privacy policy

ffide is a searchable mirror of the public agent roster published by the Insurance Commission of the Philippines (IC). The professional records you see — names, license numbers shown by the IC, companies, license types, statuses, and expiry dates — originate from documents the IC itself makes public.

Registry fields are sourced directly from the IC’s published roster and are already public. We do not add, invent, or alter these fields. An advisor who claims their profile may add a limited set of details (photo, bio) — clearly separated from the locked registry data.

• Search queries: used to return results. We do not sell them or build advertising profiles from them.
• Basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage (page views, popular searches).
• Email address: collected only if you claim a profile or submit a review — used to verify you, never sold.
• Approximate technical data (e.g. IP) for security, rate-limiting, and abuse prevention.

• We never sell your personal data or search history.
• We never show self-reported credentials as if they were verified — verification comes only from the IC.
• We never alter IC registry fields.

Because registry data is sourced from the IC, corrections to licensing information should be made with the Insurance Commission — ffide reflects the corrected roster on the next import. If a record on ffide does not match the IC’s own document, tell us at help@ffide.com and we will re-check against the source.
